What is the difference between mp3pro and mpegplus? Cause I want to know which one I should invest my time in. I dont want something that is not going to be the main standard for music files. I would really like to know which one is better to use. Please reply soon.

Lossy Formats
mp3pro: Best used at low bitrates (~64kb/s), produces correspondingly small files, HOWEVER, it gets smoked by other formats at higher bitrates (sound quality).
mpc (mpegplus): Best used at bitrates > 128 kb/s. Considered most "transparent" format.
mp3: Darn good quality files when using LAME encoder (MJ does). Use VBR mode at Normal (or better) quality. Universally supported in this universe (Scronch...there is only one universe...really).
ogg: IMO :D, Sounds as "good as" or "better than" any of the formats above at ANY bitrate/quality level. A rising phoenix...to be sure. Buy heavy...you could send your kids to college with Ogg stock.
