Hey guys, tried logging on the usual way Start>interact forum, and got an error msg that there was no connection to the server, tried again, same msg. Tried a third time and this time chose Media Center Home, then choose the forum - this time it worked. Never had this problem before...has something changed, am I doing something wrong? Bet

The problem is on the JRiver's end. The redirecting server is not working properly.
-
seems to be working fine

I see it too. We'll check. We're changing our web server so we may have some problems the next few days.
Thanks for reporting it.

no problemo, guys, was beginning to think my 'puter was having another upheaval, I mean update, spaz! Whew...now the panic is easing! ;D

This could be a DNS issue. Try rebooting to flush the DNS cache, that may help. Or it may be that the DNS change hasn't propagated.
King - did you do the exact same steps (start->interact)?

Oooops
I just use my IE, was thinking it was about the server not MC

John,
It's not a DNS issue, because http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/internal_pages/ works:
...
The truth is that the address is not working (at least from here): http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/internal_pages/redirect.pl?type=Interact&prodname=Media%20Center&version=10.0.161 (http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/internal_pages/redirect.pl?type=Interact&prodname=Media%20Center&version=10.0.161).
I can get to http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/internal_pages (http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/internal_pages) (Apache server says it's forbidden), but redirecting is not working.

Look also Dragyn's answer there: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=23172 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=23172)

Yep, you're right. It's a link that worked with the old server (but I don't know why) but not with the new.
I've fixed it in a couple of places, but it may still show up on occasion, just let me know here if it does. Or I may be able to figure out how to patch the link.
Thank's y'all.

Thank god it wasn't something else with my 'puter! For a minute I thought I was losing what was left of my mind! Glad to see all is right with the link now ;D
