Title: Audible.com
Post by: PeterS on August 25, 2004, 03:01:52 pm
We are talking to Audible about integrating their service into MEDIA CENTER as an opt-in service. You should be able to sign up and enjoy audio book content without leaving MC.

Thanks to the MC user who assailed Audible with exhortations for them to work with us. Who says individual users can't make a difference?  Care to make a confession?  ;)

We are not sure of the depth of integration at this point, but feedback is welcome.

Well, I tried out Audible once (I still get emails from them), but I didn't care for their software, so I quickly uninstalled it.  As it stands right now, the only way I can see myself ever using their service is if they completely rewrite their own software, or it is available as a service in MC (well developed of course :) ).

Options are good IMO.

However, I would put this at low priority... but that's just me.  :)
