Title: multi-zone avi audio in mc 10 vs 9
Post by: kennethav on August 26, 2004, 12:11:41 pm
i've got two monitors and two soundcards hooked up to the same pc, one in each of two different rooms. when watching movie clips (avis, mpegs, etc.), i'd like to be able to hear the audio in one zone or the other depending on which room i'm in.

this works fine for my mp3's (and/or apes, wav, etc) but not for movies for some reason. regardless of what zone i've selected, the audio goes to the "primary" sound card.

is there a fix for this? i'm using MC 9.1.  perhaps this is fixed in 10.0?

thanks,
ken

With movies and stuff, it goes through a different engine (WMP for example) so the audio would most like need to be configured there? Can you do anything with WMP as sound goes?
