When I try to rip a CD I get the message:
Status: Failed to connect to YADB server.
What am I doing wrong?

It could be a security setting screwed down too tight on your PC.

I have turned off my firewall and closed programs associated with security and still haven't had any luck. Are there any settings in Internet Options I should change.

Can you get to www.yadb.com?

Yep no problem.

Try uninstalling the firewall. It looks like something on your PC is preventing a connection from the application.
