Title: ripping cds my system trys to do it at 1440 instead of 128

I have just encountered this problem where my system trys to rip cd's at 1440 which is about 50mg per song..I have not had this problem up until now and have ripped hundreds of cds. I have looked for the setting in help and I have not found it. can someone help me please. I am a pro dj and I use this system for my work. this is a very important issue for me

I am guessing that you usually rip cds to mp3? at 128bit.  It is possible that MC has changed to ripping into wav which would be why the bitrate is showing up as 1440 and why the files are large.

goto tools...options...encoding

check that the drop down menu at the top says encoding for cd ripping then make sure that encoding type and quality is set to mp3.

hi I tried that ...I am using MC10 the setting all look right ..there is no place that says convert....I just started having this problem.....

Tools/Advanced Tools/Convert Format
