I finally decided to upgrade, and I miss G-Force already. I downloaded and installed G-Force v2.7 and it 'finds' MC11, but cannot install anything for it. Actually, I think I'm wrong about that. I think if couldn't 'find' MC11, it did show the box in the installer, but it was not selectable.
Anyone know if I can make this work?

It works fine for me, and I'm only 5' 8" ;) . I've been using the previous version though, so maybe there's a problem with 2.7? The web site says the installer's been improved!

I'm using it and it installed fine. It was on a previous version of 11 but I don't think that would be the problem. I also first started using g-force in v11. I didn't upgrade or anything like that.

It will not let me select MC v11. It finds v10 just fine, but will not let me install to v11.
i have not registered v11 yet (just installed it last night), might that be the problem?
I originally tried to install G-Force v2.68, and it wouldn't let me, so I downloaded v2.7, and still no luck.
Anyone able to do this, and if so, and ideas on what I need to do to get it working for me.

Have you got both versions installed on the same PC? - that might cause a problem. From memory, G-Force installs in the directory trees of the media players it finds. Perhaps it stops once it's done the V10 tree?
I haven't got access to my V11 PC so I can't tell you exactly where it's installed, but you should be able to get some clues from your V10.

I've got the same problem. I do have Version 10 and 11 installed. Works in 10, but not in 11.

Yeah, I have both installed on the same machine.
I copied the G-force folder from the v10 vis folder to the v11 vis folder, but it still is not an option in v11.
I suppose I could uninstall v10, and try again, but that seems like it should be unnecessary.
I'll work on it some more later today. Still looking for other ideas though, if anyone else has conquered this.

I was unable to make GForce work with MC 11, but recently tryed to install G-Force again... and it (magically?) started to detect v11 and now works very well!
So I don't think it's due to MC10...

Installed MC 11.0.75 after a fresh reinstall of XP-SP2.
Tried to install G-Force Gold 2.6.8, did not detect any media player
Downloaded G-Force Gold 2.7 and installed it. It recognized WMP, but not MC 11.0.75.!

I am having no such luck. I deleted the Media Center folder (v10) from the J River folder, leaving only Media Center 11 remaining, and tried to install G-Force again, and still no luck.
What version of v11 are you running?
I might try to delete v10 again (I restored it) and restart, and try one last time.

I have the latest one, MC11.0.75 and use GForce 2.6.8.

Well, I ended up uninstalling v10 and rebooting. Still would not install. I then installed v11.0.70 over the top of 11.0.75. It told me that this beta had timed out ?. I checked the version (help...about) and it only showed up as v11 (registered) with no actual version number. It did run, however. I then tried to install G-Force version 2.70, and it installed fine. I then re-installed v11.0.75, and G-Force is working fine (so far).
A huge PITA, but it is working now. Unfortunately, I no longer have v10 installed. I guess no more beta testing for the Best Buy version any more. :-\

I think justin got it.
I just tryed to it install Gforce on another computer.
In order to make it work I had to install an order version (MC11.0.72) then installed G-Force (I used 2.68) and finally installed the latest MC (11.0.76).

It seems that you need to go get the latest version of g-force. I just did, and got a screen that gave me an option for MC10 or MC11. The version I downloaded is 2.7.

There are updated versions of G-Force 2.7 and G-Force 2.7 Gold now on the soundspectrum website that properly recognize the newest MC11 versions (starting from 11.0.72)!

I was working with G-Force 2.7, but it wouldn't work without all the rigamarole.
It is working fine now, though.

The detection system looks for Media Jukebox.exe, which has since been renamed to Media Center.exe as of 11.0.75. Just make a copy of it, rename the copy, and the latest G-Force installs fine. I don't know whether the detection system is to blame, or some JRiver reg entry it looks for still reports back the old filename.

Andy knows about this and has updated G-Force. I'm not sure if the new version is on his website yet or not.

Still doesn't work with g-force 2.80. Says Media Center 10 and 11 when installing, no option in Media Center 11 to select it.

Here too.
I do occasionally have memory errors with the latest G-Force (2.8), but it does work!
