One of the directory tagging rules in "Rename files from Properties" of my library is as follows:
[Source]\[Topic]\[Country] and the file rule simply: [Name]
This gives a directory structure such as:
Camera\Nature\France\xxx01.jpg
Camera\Nature\Germany\xxx02.jpg
Camera\Nature\Italy\xxx03.jpg
Camera\Nature\Spain\xxx04.jpg
Camera\Nature\xxx05.jpg (for all images with unassigned Country tag!!!)
This leads to a rather confusing folder/file structure. It looks rather chaotic. I would prefer the following structure (it used to be like that in earlier versions):
Camera\Nature\France\xxx01.jpg
Camera\Nature\Germany\xxx02.jpg
Camera\Nature\Italy\xxx03.jpg
Camera\Nature\Spain\xxx04.jpg
Camera\Nature\Unassigned\xxx05.
If the Topic tag would be unassigned the folder structure would be even more chaotic. In earlier versions you got names such as "Unknown Artist", "Unknown Album" (still have some folders like that), but I feel a simple folder "Unassigned" would reflect the tagging better.

I agree it's not ideal (and MC should create 'Unasigned' foders like you said) but you can try this :
[Source]\[Topic]\([Country]) as a folder structure.
You will have :
Camera\Nature\(France)\xxx01.jpg
Camera\Nature\(Germany)\xxx02.jpg
Camera\Nature\(Italy)\xxx03.jpg
Camera\Nature\(Spain)\xxx04.jpg
Camera\Nature\()\xxx05.
I use something similar for my shots and found it better than having a weird directory structure.

Are you sure? Then all other countries should also look like that:
(France), (Italy), (Germany)?
-
That's what I wanted to mean. It would be too good otherwise ;D
Sorry :-X
(I edited my post to correct this)

Changed next build.

Thank you Matt for listening :D

Heh.... heh... not to cause trouble, but how 'bout we have a poll? ;D I prefer "Unsorted" over "Unassigned" myself. Okay, I'll shut up now. *runs off*

Er... never mind. "Unsorted" fits images more, but "Unassigned," I guess, works best for audio. :-\
