While converting files from wma into mp3 I keep on getting an error message saying that media jukebox has encountered an error and must shut down. This didn't happen when it was first installed about 2 mnths ago so anyone have any ideas? This is happening on all wma files I try to convert. It will convert one or two tracks before the error message appears so I can convert the whole album by doing one or two tracks at a time but thats annoying. Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm getting the same error message when converting WMAs to WAVs.

I am having the same problem too - having to do about 3 at a time!

Protected WMA's can't be converted to WAV. Could that be the problem?
-
I am able to convert them all eventually. It just won't do multiple conversions without continuously restarting Jukebox, reselecting the files and restarting the conversion process.

It does not depend on the format. It crashes when convering wma to wav, it crashes when converting wav to mp3, it crashes when converting ape to ogg, ...
Usually it stops at the third track of the album. But sometimes MJ encounters error in the options dialog. I have selected format from drop down combo box, then clicked ok button and got error message. There must be a serious bug, but nobody is able to fix it.
This problem started in May 2002. Previous versions of MJ were stable. New users always start new topics and write again the same sentences that another user wrote one month or one year ago.
