Title: Lookup track names from album and track #?
Post by: tomgrossi on September 04, 2004, 02:09:04 pm
I have a number of ripped CDs where the name field got messed up.  I still have the Artist, Album, and Track #'s.  Is there a plug-in or program I can use to do an internet lookup of the track names?

Select a few tracks, right click and choose track lookup.

Audio fingerprinting is the technology that track lookup uses.  It's ours.

The fingerprint ID isn't finding my tracks... I know that the entries are in freedb, and therefore probably in YADB too.  Is there any other way to query the database?

The track lookups come from a different database than the CD lookups.  Both are in YADB.

www.yadb.com

If they aren't there, they aren't there.  There is no other way.

The Finger Print ID Is Smaller Than YADB's Data Base For The Album.

FreeDB Does Not Have Track Finger Printing

you may want to check out this program it does Audio Fingerprinting
