Title: Media Jukebox on a LAN
Post by: spaceace on November 06, 2002, 04:03:27 am
Hi

Can MJ be used as a network jukebox, i.e. is there a plug-in to allow users to select and queue up tracks they want to listen to across the network (via an intranet page for example) and then these are played across the main sound system in the office?

We have been using JukeDaddy which uses this but it crashes some PC apps (which of course is a problem)

TIA

The answer is yes.  But I don't use it and can't give more details than that :D  Perhaps its on a plugins page somewhere.

There is a web interface that will control what the local session of MJ will play.  You can access the web interface remotely.

Thanks for your reply!

Does anybody else have any idea what the plug in is called/where I can locate it?

Thanks

Check the plug-ins page here.  It's an interface plug-in called WebRemote.
