Here's my potential problem.
After I upgraded my computer a few weeks ago, I simply installed MC11 and used one of my MC10 license restores. This was before the actual MC11 licenses became available for purchase. I have not and do not want to install MC10. (I have my reasons. :P)
Of course, MC11 "expired" a week or two ago, so I have been without my music for a couple of weeks now. :o
Here's my question: I don't know how you guys coded it, but my previous MC11 was registered; the app itself just simply expired. I say that because I am hoping this will not be akin to an expired "trial period."
Is there going to be a way for me to buy and install the latest MC11 alpha without reinstalling MC10? (I don't mind at all paying full price for MC11 instead of the cheap $10 upgrade price. It's well worth it!)
I just don't what to have to install MC10 to do it!

Omni,
Please e-mail me.

Thanks.

Okay, I'll PM you, but just for the record, I haven't actually tried installing the latest MC11 yet, so this all may be a non-issue. ;)
(Having not been able to get my recently purchased Abit board stable, a new MSI board is currently on its way. So until this weekend or so, I'm not in a position to install any new software anyway. :-\)

Well, I wanted to get the K8N Neo2 Platinum (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8N_Neo2_Platinum&class=mb), but judging from the image, I didn't think my HSU would fit on it, so I ordered the K8T Neo2-FIR (http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=K8T_Neo2-FIR&class=mb) instead.
It pained me to do that, too, because 1.) I hate the VIA chipset, 2.) the K8N is a much faster board, and 3.) I am still uncertain if the VIA K8T800 Pro 66/33 lock problem has been resolved or not.
I think today I'm going to go ahead and order the K8N, and if my HSU fits, I'll just RMA the unopened K8N. ;D
The sad thing is that pretty much all Socket 939 boards seem to have problems at the moment, so this MSI board (either one) will probably be just as flaky as my current Abit AV8 (http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/products.php?categories=1&model=175). :(

I had two packard bells a 25mhz 486 and a Pentium 60 mhz many moons ago.
I gave up on them in favor of companies that at that time were putting better video cards in there systems.
I have to say I never had any problems with my Packard bell computers.
I now return you back to the program already in progress

My MC 11 beta expired ... no internet access leads to infrequent uppgrades
What was registered is now no longer registered... so after much fussing (caused by not being online, I get a new mjr, but it is not valid !?!)
How can a valid registered now no longer be registered?
I have been with MJ for many years, and have lost track of the different versions that I have paid for. Is there a way to discover this?
Why did the program de-register itself without warning ?
How can I resore MC11?
do I have to return to version 10?
how do I regain my database?
Is there a list of significant changes between 10 and 11 somewhere, since I could not see. Documents' did not seem to do anything, and there was not help (not that I would expect any when testing software)

Some of the MC11 betas time out after a short period (1 month) and no longer work after that time out. Download the latest MC11 and it won't do that.
Visit the restore page, and enter your e-mail address, and it will send you a list of the licenses it knows about.

You don't have to panic. As Gateley said, download and install the latest MC 11 installation package (currently MediaCenter110078.exe (ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/MediaCenter110078.exe)). You will have 30 days of free trial.
If you don't want to buy the upgrade before the trial ends you can make a playlist of your all files and export it to mpl format. MC 10 can import it. It preserves all information. (Except cuesheet entries. They are not supported in MC 10).
Besides, there are clear warnings and terms in MC 11 Alpha threads:
We're still working on Media Center 11. We appreciate your feedback on it, but MC11 may not work as expected and we can't yet fully support it. When upgrading from MC 10, you will lose your settings. Some plugins still do not work.
We recommend that you use MC10 below, but if you want to use MC 11 while we're building it, PRICES are here:

If you want a more trouble-free experience, please download Media Center 10 here:

You don't have to panic.
The main types of Anti-depressant Drugs in use today are:
Tricyclic Anti-depressants, such as Amitriptyline (Elavil), Imipramine (Tofranil), Nortriptyline (Pamelor)
Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs or Serotonin Boosters), such as fluoxetine (Prozac), Paroxetine (Paxil), and Sertraline (Zoloft)
Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAO Inhibitors), such as Phenelzine (Nardil), and Tranylcypromine (Parnate)
Lithium (used mainly to treat manic depression, but also sometimes prescribed for recurring bouts of depression).
I personaly Have tested some of them (Amitriptyline, Zoloft, Alavil, And Effexor) And and they help with panic Attacks.

LOL ;D
But can I restore myself after trying them all? Is there a way back?

You just have to take a bite from the other mushroom.
