Title: Library- Import Media, not always?

Only recently have had the situation where not all albums/tracks are being 'imported' from the usual music folder and cannot see any reason why after looking at formats, etc.  Maybe something in the tags?  I understand some formats, eg flac, don't get recognised but the ones  being missed are simple MP3's.  Any ideas?  Applies to ver 10 and 11 having tried both.

if they are very short they may not import.

if not J River may want to have a copy of them.

Double check the "Do not import small files" option on the advanced section of the Import dialog.

These are regular MP3 size files, not shorts, ..have had a quick look at files with Tag&Rename which I am not familar with and it appears the files in question do not contain any Tag info..  so I just need to investigate further and find out what these files are telling me and how I can fix ......not any MC fault it would seem.  Thank you...will advise any fix I find.

well it should import even if it does not have tags

what it should or would do is put the file name in the "Name" field

Have reconstructed 'faulty' mp3 files and all import OK into MC now.  All is well again.  Thanks for assistance.
