Title: CD Audio during DVD Video?
Post by: lv2jmp on September 12, 2004, 02:15:38 pm
Using MC10 (or perhaps 11?), is it possible to watch DVD/mpeg/QT videos while listening to CD/ripped audio?  Every time I attempt it, I get one or the other.  My preamp has a feature where I can select a different audio input than the video input.  Using an HTPC, I lose this capability since all my sources are the same 'device'.  I'd like to select a single input to the preamp, with audio and video from the HTPC, yet unrelated to each other.  Pointers to a thread I missed, or some MC magic would be most appreciated.

Get another soundcard and feed its output into one of your amp's other inputs. Then you can assign each soundcard a different zone and play DVD to one and music to another.
