Why oh why does MC 11 always analyze my whole library before it starts importing new files ?

Import has been merged with library update.  It also finds and fixes broken links.

This step shouldn't take very long unless you are using an (overly) slow network drive.

The entire import process should take 3-6 seconds on a fast computer with a 10,000 file library when there are no new files.

The first scan after each bootup takes more than 30sec, but after that about 5 sec. This on a 2,1GHz AMD with 1 Gb memory and a collection of 17500+ mp3's.
