I am importing my html lists into Excel, but I can't find I way to create html list of just the albums I have.
Anyone got any ideas; I keep getting lists with files, if I choose not to display the file names (field) in Media Center, I end up with a list that has the album name listed multiple times for every track there was on the album.
Is there any way to combine Excel spreadsheet entries?
My html lists & Excel spreadsheets look like this:
Over The Rainbow's End (Gaylads 68-71)
Over The Rainbow's End (Gaylads 68-71)
Over The Rainbow's End (Gaylads 68-71)

Pick A Dub
Pick A Dub
I tried to combine them to no avail. If you right click on the spreadsheet in a cell and choose, Pick From File, a java-like window pops up with all the album entries from the book letting you choose what you want to insert into that particular cell. That's exactly what I need, that list of albums but I can't get it....!
thanks

You need to use a playlist that removes duplicates, or a more elegant solution would be to try MC XML Export with some of the presets found here: http://pages.sbcglobal.net/scottraymond/Presets.htm (http://pages.sbcglobal.net/scottraymond/Presets.htm)

Look at: Action Window > File Properties > Albums (or other pages)
Copy to clipboard and paste anywhere.
Excel can also do grouping if you play around a little.

JONCAT,
Could this work for you?
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=20382 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=20382)
In "Customize Current View" you could include: "Album Artist (auto)" and "Album".
After you have the list as you like on screen you can also just select all, right click, copy and paste to an empty Excel sheet.
