I have a cd with 90 digital pictures that i have to view one at a time through mc Is it possible to see these thru slide show
If so how do i do it

Select them all and hit the play button.  That will start a slide show.

You can configure the playback by right clicking on the screen.

when i try to viewphotos with out the cd in computer i get thumbnail of some photos and thumbnail with red X thru others [photo file #is belowthumbnail]
I thought i sent photos to library,when i tried to send to library again that option did not show in pop up

Can you copy the photos to your PC and import them into MC?

I was able to put photo files in library,but when i open a file the slideshow starts up and a message window opens infront of the photos as slideshow is changing

           THE TRACK NAMED'xxx xxx'cannot be played because the volume labeled ''unnabled disc[3]'' was not found


Every  time a photo changes the file #changes in the info window with it
 When i try to cancell from pop up window it won't let me and i have to hit ctrl\alt dele --end task

You can't upload your image to JR's servers...you need a url. Right click on my avatar and select Properties. You'll see...

http://home.revealed.net/xen/CheckYurDisk.gif

...which shows up as a link when pasted here (best method if your image is large)

To embed image you would put...

[img ]http://home.revealed.net/xen/CheckYurDisk.gif[/img ]

...in the body of your post ( string is disabled with space before ]'s )

My computer skills are minimal ,to be honest have not a clue what you are telling me.

Put the CD in the drive.  Open it in explorer and select all the files.  Then press ctrl-C (copy).

Still in explorer, find the place on your computer where you want to store them.  C:\photos, for example.

Select that directory and hit enter.  Now hit ctrl-V (paste).  All your files will be copied to that directory.

Then import them into MC.

I think all my pictures have been imported to mc?
 when i scroll thru library my photos are listed.
How i got them into mc was i clicked on each file,play in media center window opened,i  clicked import,import screen appeared.files scannedshowed number of files imported.
To double check i tried to import a file that i know that shows in library it scanned file,but said in import window that no new file found.

Will i have to delete all the photo files that i think /are in library and then proccede to method you suggested
Just wanted to check befoe i changed any thing

I think you've imported the pictures that were on the CD.  When the CD isn't there, the pictures aren't.  Importing doesn't move files.

Delete what's there from the database and start over.

Have you tried MC's Help feature?
