Title: OT: Sharing my Windows Folder

I have a few computers on a home LAN and I'd like to share the Windows folder on my main computer.  However when I try to do it Windows tells me that it can't be shared as its used by the Operating System.  Is there a way around this?

I think if you turn of simple file sharing it will allow you to share any folder, however, there are repercusions to turning it off.
