Title: OT: Photo Printer Suggestions?

I'm thinking about getting rid of my HP 7960 which has turned out to be a disappointment.  The print quality is great but through two machines I've had paper slippage, ripping of CD cards, jams and major wheel marks (from the paper feed mechanism) on paper when its fed through once for each side.

I'll probably get a laser for black printing and something nice, probably inkjet,  for printing color.  I'm a beginner/medium level Photoshop user and I'm looking to print brochures, photo quality prints, posters, card inserts for CD cases, etc.

Any suggestions?

Tim, hubby swears by his Canon i950, and he's a stickler when it comes to his photo's.  he researched it alot before he bought and talked to all his camera guys and some professional photographers that we know.    Bet
