is j river gonna offer something like musicmatch's lifetime upgrades. That would really interest me. :)

I think thats one reason MusicMatch may have been sold to Yahoo

I used to work for a company that offered lifetime upgrades on their server-dependent product.

Problem was that the members thought the guarantees were for their lifetimes.  When the product was replaced by a new brand the lifetime came to an end.

The concept is often used, as it was in our case, to generate instant cash flow with little thought to the future.
