Title: Run time error MC10
Post by: mindracing on September 20, 2004, 07:13:15 am
During playback, whenever I click or keypress next/previous I get a runtime error and MC10 crashes.

I've only noticed this since installing SP2 though it may not be linked.

I'm running .161.

Yes i am experencing the same problem, i play the first file i wish to listen to but either stopping, next or previous functions return an error and MC has to shut down, strangly enuff it will play threw the play list without error but does not alow me to make any changes.

i have not yet install SP 2 so i beleve this 2 be unrealted...What can be done about this??? >:(

I have tryed the following : Full Scan disk :- failed
                                            Reinstalling    :- failed

Would be very grateful is the Mc team could fix this problem :'(
i am running Version 10.0.115

Update to what Jim? I thought 161 was the latest.

Odly, this only happens with MP3s. Video files don't produce this problem.

Im afrade it will not let me, i use the uto update but it tells me that i am up to date, but not to worry as i have found a soloution. this may only work for me but i sugest u try it.  ;D

instead of re-installing over the existing copy of MC, uninstall using windows add/remove download a fresh copy from the site, install..it should pick up your licence automaticly(well mine did) update and try again, this apears to have solved my issue. but i am still confused to why im stuck at the version ?

I did a complete uninstall and then reinstalled and this sorted the problem.

Thank you.

I experienced the same issue with update. I had 161 installed and update suggested installing 155.

Also, is there a way to back up options? Every time I do a reinstall I have to reset my options.
