Title: 11.0.86 and Archos?

Does this apply to the Archos Jukebox devices or is that still down the road a bit?

11.0.86 (9/20/04)

6. Changed: Portable Device recognition based on Device ID matching with WMDM name.
7. Fixed: Cross platform recognition of portable devices under new matching scheme.
8. Fixed: Portable device recognition table is no longer case sensitive to accomodate Windows ME / 98SE.

zxsix,

This applies to Archos devices which are WMDM compatible, but as I recall, yours is not. In order to support yours, we must decide to support devices which are not WMDM compatible which as of now we are not choosing to do. This may change as as MC 11 evolves.

please support non-WMDM-compatible devices.... My Archos is one of them as well....

Yes, please support it, I have an Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 and now it doesn't work anymore as portable device on MC.
