I burned a CD on Wednesday last week using v11 (don't remember what build) and have noticed recently a few problems with this disc.
First, the song change and track number display do not jive. Songs change long before the track number updates on the display. This makes skipping to a song useless, as I end up 30 seconds into the song I want to hear.
Also, the last track stops playing sound about 40 seconds before the time display shows the end of the track, and the disc switches to the next (6-disc changer)
Finally, (totally unrelated) I just noticed today that my arrow buttons do not work when typing in the 'Message' box while typing this post. I'm sure they used to (didn't they), very bizarre.

That means the MP3 analyzer got the length wrong on one or more files.
If you could figure out what file MC gets wrong and email it to matt @ jriver.com, we'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Any suggestions on how to do this? Will it be the one that starts to be offtrack (if there is just one), or is there some other way?
I can send you all of the tracks, and the playlist if you'd like. They're 160kbps mp3s.

Alright, i just grabbed it out of my car, put it in the laptop, and had a look with MC. Interresting results.
Every track shows the right time in the 'View Scheme' listing. However, when a track is playing, the playing now 'bar' across the top shows the track length 4 seconds slower. Every track is 4 seconds, except the last track, which shows 1 second longer than the 'View Scheme' lists. There are 11 tracks, 10 of which are 'off' by 4 seconds each, minus the last tracks' 1 second difference. There's the 39 seconds of silence at the end of the disc. It seemed like earlier tracks were not off by as much, so that makes sense too.
If you need/want more info, or the files, i'll be happy to help, but that should give some guidance.

Matt or John,
Can this be fixed?
Does it even make sense?
Do you want all the files? Or the CD I burned?
Thanks

Send one or two of the files to matt @ jriver.com and we'll go from there. Hopefully it'll be an easy fix.
Thanks.

On second thought, you better send the Audi too just in case it's the problem.

Outlook said it was too large to send, sorry.
