Title: Renamed files with MC, yet next Import reports updating files with "external" ch

I'm not really clear on this one. Can somebody explain?

I just moved 2300 files from one hard drive to another to make some room. To do this I used "Rename Files From Properties" and everything went very well.

But for some reason, when I did an Import after, MC is indicated "Updating Library to reflect external changes" for the 2300 files.

I would assume that using "Rename from properties" would be an "Internal" change, so what are "External" changes to the library?
