Title: Slow iPod transfers?
Post by: JustinChase on September 29, 2004, 07:30:38 pm: MC transfers songs to my iPod at 2.26 MB/s. That seems slow to me. It's taken nearly all day to put about 30bg on it.

Is that right? If not, how can I improve the performance?

Also, it is currently showing a time of -(negative) 7:31 to finish. Seems wrong to me.

Please try to transfer some files directly to iPod from Windows Explorer and take note of the speed to rule out that this is a hardware issue.

Post by: JustinChase on October 08, 2004, 10:22:53 am: Steve, Windows doesn't give me a speed in the transfer, but 9 files took about 10 seconds or so. I tried it within MC and it took nearly 30 seconds just to tell me it was ready to start, then it took over a minute to actually do the transfer. My speed started out at .10 MC/s, and gradually increased to a final speed of 1.42 MB/s.
