Hi,
... allow the selection of DVD Codec and ffdshow as a postfilter
.... allow you to select a codec when recording
Will these features be added to MC? IMHO I think these are more important than a new file browser when your original browser is so far ahead of the competition anyway.

I wouldn't mind seeing something like this implemented either.
-
one thing I have been dreaming of too.

... allow the selection of ... ffdshow as a postfilter
what do you mean by this? Do you mean
1) will mc use ffd show?
or
2) add some tab that i can check to use that it uses it?
because (1) already is true
-
How do you get ffdShow to work with MC11 then?
Every other program I have used has required that it is added to the Graph.
Cheers

its automatic
go into ffdshow make sure the osd (on screen display) box is checked, set it up how you want and then start MC (i use MC11 also). Stick on a video - you should see that the osd works which means that ffdshow is being used...

This works with Videos but I have never seen this work with DVD's. I have used WinDVD4, 5, 6 and dScaler MPEG2 codecs in MC9,10 and 11.
What am I missing to get it working with DVD's?
-
oh, i never use mc with dvd's - i can never get it to work!
-
lol...well i'll guess we'll just kind of add that to my original post then!
Thanks

I also think this one of the big improvements MC could finally make. MC really needs to do DVD better!!
