Delighted with the trial Media Jukebox 8, I was persuaded to purchase Media Center 9 during last December's promotion. No registration problems.
After trying Media Center, I decided that Media Jukebox 8 was what I really needed. So I switched to that product. I did not need to re-register - the switch worked with no problem.
Then Windows 2000 crashed. A hard drive problem, I believe. I restored Windows and re-installed Media Player 8. But I am unable to re-register!
Seeing your post about having to do it with the dreaded IE6, I tried again. Again the same error message from Media Jukebox:
"Invalid license, error code=14."
Kindly advise.
Love your product. It is sorely missed.
David.

Make sure that you are installing the LATEST version of MJ8 from the download page.
Then restore your license using the restore page:

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the idea, David.
I admit I re-installed 8.0.393
Will try out your suggestion tomorrow.
(Hope I don't use up all my license restores!)
Kind regards.
David.
