Title: Which version of wma is used for encoding?
Post by: Glenman on November 01, 2002, 03:50:13 am
Could someone tell me what encoding version is used when compressing a wav file (or .cda) to a .wma file using Media Jukebox?

I know windows media has version 8 available (which sounds really good), but I am not sure what version Media Jukebox uses.

Thanks,
Glen

AFAIK, they are still using 7.1.  The SDK for Series 9 should be available later this fall.
