Did you try this page?

Install Keys are only good for 14 days. After that, you have to use the Restore Page.

I purchased a new registration code for Media Center. When I clicked on code it will not download. So I clicked on code and saved it to desktop. It still will not install from my desktop either. So is there something wrong with my computer or is it something else? Thanks. Brenda

Try restoring using IE.
If you saved the file to your PC using a right click, it should work by executing it. This won't work after 14 days.
Try updating MC.

Also, please post your system info by going to MC Help and copying it, then pasting here.

If her trial's over, she probably won't be able to do that.

Thanks, Doof.
Try reinstalling the latest build of MC.
Disable any anti-spyware software, virus checkers, etc.

Gracias, Jimbo. It took killing the Windows Firewall, disabling Spybot S&D resident protection, pausing Avast Anti-virus, and disabling protection by Spywareblaster...but I finally got mine to re-install.
