Sorry if this has been covered - searched for the obvious signs and couldn't find any relevant references...
I'm ripping a large library of disks and creating a master library in Raw WAVE format. With nearly 150 albums finished, no problems until...
The program indicates "Failed" in the STATUS column of the current CD being ripped. However, when I cancel or close the summary window indicates 100% success for the tracks in question.
When watching the destination directory, the completed .wav file appears to flicker momentarily as if it exists and then disappears altogether. At the end of the process I have a new ALBUM directory which is empty.
I don't believe I've changed anything which could affect the process - I'm simply swapping CD's in and out while I've been doing some other work.
I've checked disk space - over 70 Gigs available on the current destination volume...
Any ideas what I can do to shake this behavior ??
/ Thanks

Can you copy your system info from MC Help and paste it here?
Is it just one CD that does this?
Check that the location for the temp files has enough space. Options/File Location.

System Info follows...
Disk space fine - have also defragged all drives...
Has affected the last two CD's - that's when I started investigating...
Here goes...

Can you try updating to build 173, available in a thread here?
It may be related to file names. Trying a few more CD's might tell us that.
