I have MJ 8.0 & recently when i put some cd's in my player it just shuts down. I keep restarting & it keeps shutting down, any idea why this is happening?
Thanks
-
hard to tell you gave no info for your system and mj8 version number.
if you go to mj8 then help use the system info option and paste that info here.
turn of the visuals, and or slide show plug-in if your using it.

any error messages?
does it happen to all cd's or just some?

I have Media Jukebox PLUS 8.0.399 & use windows XP.
It happens only to some cds & I do get an error.
The error is
AppName: media jukebox.exe AppVer: 8.0.399.0 ModName: media jukebox.exe
ModVer: 8.0.399.0 Offset: 001b996c
Does this help?

I remember once that there was a bug in the YADB get info, and it would do that to about 17 cd's i had out of the 2,000 or so i have.
they fixed this in MC9
if you turn off the YADB option does it still crash?
-
How do i turn yadb off?
-
well i have not used MJ8 in over a year, i have been using MC9
if i remember correctly there is on option someplace under settings.
-
I turned it off & it's still happening. I think this happens with the cds that I've ripped a song into my library from so it already knows the cd?!
-
did you try uninstalling And Reinstalling?
Don't know what to tell you.
-
I just did the reinstall & it seems to be working.
Thank you
