Can you copy the exact smartlist query and paste it here?

What happens if you don't specify an artist, but only a media type?

Thanks for clearing this out.

I also was in Audio mode, now switwhing to "All Media" and then back to "Audio", the smartlist works...

there was a time when this would Make MJ do bad things that were later fixed.

but also when you have MC make dirs using the artist names you may not want it to come out ACDC Since now MC now strips the illegal Chrs in the fields before creating the File Path.
