Title: Noob - Slow load

Hiya. Just downloaded the trial ver. yesterday. Thinking about MC with MainLobby (Music Lobby) For a wall mounted touch-screen display.

I have a couple of questions.

Upon starting MC, it seems to take an unbearable time to load. I mean you click it.... the screen comes up to warn you its demo... then nothing for like 1 whole minute. Everything disappears, and then all of a sudden it pops up! Is this the normal startup procedure? Or do I have other problems?

I am running a Cel 1Ghz 512 Ram & plenty of HD space. It doesnt matter if MC is the only thing running, or if I have many applications open.

Anyhow, another question related to Music Lobby. (I understand this is the MC forum, but any help is appreciated, and the only reason I may purchase MC is for the MusicLobby compatibility) The response from Music Lobby to MC seems lagged as well. When I click a function in Music Lobby, I get quite a noticable (1-2 second) lag from the function I chose until it actually happens. Hey, 1-2 secs isnt horrible, but it is enough to turn me off of this software combo for my project.

MC should only take a few seconds to start.

Maybe try disabling Music Lobby to see if it could be the cause.

Actually, MC is loaded BEFORE Main Lobby & Music Lobby... So that aint it.

There were some well documented problems with MusicLobby on their site.

Make sure you have the latest of both MusicLobby and MC10.

I think MC11 Loads Faster Than MC10 And MC9

MC10 Would Load In 1-2 Mins For Me, MC11 Works Good

This Was Due To The Database Loading

But As Matt And Jim Said MusicLobby Creates Other Problems Sometimes (I Don't Use It).
