Title: reading dvd problem

Sorry
it is cerainly stupid but i just reinstall my computer and media center can't read dvd anymore.
It always told me something about key exchange dvd protection.

I don't want to install my old dvd player because it crashes with other software. is there a solution to use medai center to read dvd???

Try re-installing the software that came with your DVD drive.

I had a similar problem and ended up getting a program called "Region Free" which also disabled the protection (Macromedia?) that was causing the problem.

Try a google search also.
