Title: Handheld Read Time MC11

The time to read my 40gb ihp140 takes up to 20 minutes.  Shouldn't it store the database of items on it so the next time it loads faster?  It has to load first before I can successfully transfer songs and playlists.  MC11 on a 2.6ghz p4 2gb mem xp.  MC11 is chewing up 50% of cpu time sitting there.

something is wrong, 'cause it doesn't take nearly that long to read my 40gb iPod. It takes awhile (everything takes awhile when I'm anxiously staring at my computer screen), but way more like 5 minutes.
