Title: upgreding from MC 9 to MC 10
Post by: verucktwolf on October 20, 2004, 12:49:00 pm
King Sparta has mentioned that J River was allowing a free upgrade from MC 9 to MC 10. What do I need to do to make that happen and in doing so will I be allowed all the newest versions of MC 10 or just one of the older versions?

I don't remember me saying "free upgrade"

they did Prior to MJ8 however have a free upgrade to the next version.

Probably a misunderstanding on my part, my mistake. I.m pretty happy with the version I have. It does however tell me that there is an update available for the registered version I have but when I try to download it I get a site not found/unable to connect to server message simmilar to what I would get when trying to download 9.1 from j river as well as many other sites. Any ideas?

You can get MC 9.1.319 (the last version) from this link:

WELCOME - **** FAQ **** - INSTRUCTIONS (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=10029)

(I already gave that earlier, but perhaps you didn't notice it.)

Update is not working from inside MC 9.1, because that system works only with a current MC (= MC 10).

It seems to me that you have mixed MC 9.1 and MC 10 files. You may need to make a clean install if that is true.
