Title: How do these Split Views work!?!
Post by: raym on October 21, 2004, 06:42:28 pm
I understood the Ctrl+Shift+Click method in the alpha version but how does it work now? All I want to be able to do is show Playing Now with my default Audio view. If I click on the slipt views menu option all I get is a split Start page. How do I make this the Playing Now view?

Split your panes.
Click anywere in the pane you want to change. Then click playing now...

Oh yes! Thanks.

Is there a way of "locking down" the view once you've set it up the way you want though? Everytime you click on the tree the spilt view changes. For example, I've set up my Audio view with Playing Now on the bottom. If I'm working in Playing Now and click the tree (say on Video) suddenly my Playing Now view is my Video view. It would be nice if Playing Now stayed as Playing Now and just the top view was the one that changed as you navigate the tree. I guess I'm talking about the split views having the capability of  being "Playing Now" centric? Anyway, just a thought....

Thanks again.

Click the pane that you didn't have playing now in and it will change...
