Title: Unsaved tags (music and image)

What happens when a tag can not be saved on disk? How can I notice the difference between a file modification sucessfuly saved, and a failure result?

Could MC try to save the unsaved changes later (periodically or on demand)?

I have been wondering:

if i had 8000 tags to save, and it was working on it


and the power goes off or the system crashes for some reason

the database has been updated, but the files have not

when i re-boot the program will the changes ever be saved?

actually, on a good deal of my songs recently, media center is giving me messages just before it plays a song saying that it cant update the tag for that file.

This is happening fairly frequently (perhaps as much as once an album)

I am using build .106 and i had the Cover art finder and EQ Master plugins installed. I have now uninstalled them and will see how it goes.

I am not using any third party plug-ins, and I use latest MC11 version...

What happens when a tag can not be saved on disk?

If the database has been updated, but the files have not... Will the changes ever be saved?

How does it work the option to update tags (from library)? Does it updates every file, modified or not? Does it check for differences?

It Could Be EQ Master Since It Does Save To The Tags.

This Was Not A Problem With MC10 However.

If It Can't Save From A Plug-In Is Should "Be Quite" About The Save Can Not Be Completed. I Guess That Is Not So In This Case.

If It Is This Problem Cood Effect Other Plug-Ins That Run All The Time And In That Case J River Should Change It So It Does Not Warn You Like This When A Tag Change Is Made From A Plug-In.

There Are Other Plug-Ins That Save Info When A File Is Playing.
