I recently upgraded to Media centre 10 from 8(Ithink). My new media 10 registration code is not recognised & I want to restore a licence so I can run on my new laptop. What do I do??

Did you read this?

Please see this FAQ:

I get this message.
Error
We could not find that license.
I have cut the registration code from my registered media centre and pasted it into the box at https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi
-
Check the version of Media Center it was for (in the e-mail).
Do NOT post your Registration Code.

It looks like your database thinks I'm a Media Jukebox 8 user. I upgraded to MC10 in September this year and was sent a 10 mjr file. If I try the MJ8 licence it asks if I want an upgrade. Could someone check this out?
-
maybe you used another e-mail address?

I don't know that it will make a difference, but please try downloading and installing the build you'll find here:

Yes I have registered on this machine, but I want to install MC10 on my new laptop. This is why I have been trying to get a new licence mjr file. The system does not recognise me as a MC10 user.

The only license in our system under the e-mail you use here on Interact is for an Media Jukebox 8 license.

Jim This is the problem. Please check your db as I upgraded to MC10. Here is the mail I received on Wednesday 15th of Sept 2004 minus the actual registration code.
Thank you for your purchase of Media Center 10 from JRiver, Inc. for $14.98.
Your Registration Code is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
This is your permanent proof of purchase. Print this e-mail now and keep it in a safe place.
