Okay, here goes...I'm not very iPod-literate, but I'll attempt to explain my dilemma...have had the iPod for a couple of months. Aside from the occasional "freezing" that I have been able to undo by toggling the "hold" button, everything was fine. Suddenly when I plugged the iPod in to my computer and iTunes opened, instead of the red flashing icon reading "Sheila's iPod", it read "G://". Hmmm....decided to restore the iPod to factory settings (I am on Windows XP) with instructions I received at Apple's support site. When I completed the restore, my iTunes library did not transfer to the iPod. All 2000+ songs are gone from the iPod, but are still in my iTunes library, but won't transfer. I have it set to update automatically, but it won't. Any ideas?
