Title: OT: John Peel 1939-2004

Sad news today that the radio legend John Peel (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/tv_and_radio/3955289.stm) has died. For those outside the UK who didnt get to hear his broadcasts, there are literally hundreds of bands who wouldnt be around today without his support. Music fans everywhere should probably be playing 'Teenage Kicks' in tribute tonight, although personally I'll be going for Joy Divisions 'Atmosphere'.

At First I Thought It Was

Mrs. Peel's Husband

Mrs Peel Was Unofficial operative From The Avengers Show, But That Was John Steed Who Was Her Partner, And Not John Peel.
