Title: Error adding files to device

When trying to upload MP3 files to my Mini IPod from my library server across the network, I'm getting an error that reads:

Error trying to add the following files to device...Note: Make sure that you aren't trying to add internet streams.

I am able to load files from the Default (local disk) library residing on the same machine to which the IPod is connected, but not from the library residing on my server.   ?

I'm using MC 10.0.198  

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Library server doesn't copy files across a network, it streams them.  The error message is exactly right.

So, I need to connect my IPod physically to my media server if I want to download content to it?  I could swear that I used to download over the network to my IPod with MC 8.  Was I just hallucinating?

Possibly. It is not something we currently support for a variety of reasons.
