When watching video it is CTRL right to move forward. My laptop has those keys set so CTRL is on one side of the KB and arrow on the other... Any way to change this?

Take a screwdriver and lever out the Ctrl key and the key next to the left arrow on your laptop. Swap the keys over and press hard on the keys to snap them back into place. Now your Ctrl key is next to your arrow keys.
But seriously - Im afraid there is no way to reassign shortcut keys in MC. This was requested in a recent thread, so heres hoping...
Also, isnt there some sort of Windows Accessibility feature called StickyKeys which allows you to press e.g. Shift + letter sequentially rather than both at the same time? Might be overkill though.

This should be mandatory and allow for global functionality

there is more complete directions on the net, i looked about a month ago to help someone who wanted to clean his key board. some even have pictures.
but not all of the keys are interchangeable, you can't put a CTRL key on a "A" it hits the keyboard sides and if you us it on the center keys you will nee to leave some keys out, and that does not go well when typing a letter home to mom.

Darn it King, you spotted the flaw in my argument :)
BTW, I do think that this would be a very useful feature. I use Ctrl+N,L etc for the player transport controls, but you need the hands of a concert pianist to make the press with one hand on my keyboard, so Id like to change them. As I recall I wasnt left very hopeful by Matts response to this request in a recent thread though - I think he suggested getting a keyboard with special media keys, and mapping them with a plugin (Girder?). Possibly this suggestion might help with manders original request?
