Hello all ... been a long time since I posted.
Just got a new work computer to replace the old one and reinstalled the newest version of MC 10. I tried searching the forums for the answer to my question, but came up with nothing.
How do I setup Media Center to open up in "audio mode" by default. Currently, it always opens to "All Media" and I would rather it open up just to Audio?
Thanks in advance for the replies :)

Im using MC11.0.98, and in Tools/Otions/Startup I can choose the startup location (eg playing now) and remember Media Mode (eg audio). If these options are in MC10 I assume they'll be in the same place - cant remember for sure.

Thank you. "Remember Media Mode" is indeed in the same location. In my previous version, it was a menu option. Makes more sense where it is now.
Thanks again for the help!

In MC11 this is not possible anymore. Think about that before upgrading.... :(

Yes it is. What they took out was the option to remember the last view you used. You can still instruct MC to open in a specific tree item (e.g. Start, Playing Now, Media Library, etc.), and to remember the media mode.

Yes, but how do you intruct it to open in Audio ? Have you tried it ?

Yes. That's the way I always start it. Choose "Remember Media Mode" and then select "Audio" (musical notes icon) from the toolbar in the upper right. Then select "Media Library" for the startup option. You will then start in the Audio section of the tree.
