Hi,
Can I put forward the following suggestions:-
add a 'store image in folder.jpg' option
add support for xmltv guide to theatre view and normal view
add support for timeshifting for dv devices (ADC cards.)
add ffdshow support for dvd playback
add support for recording codecs ( I would like to use huffvy)
add support to do background encoding (I would like to then convert my lossless huffvy recording to 2-pass divx.)
add support for proper Theatre View plugins with access to all the MC11 SDK features but within the Theatre View navigation.
Only store CD and DVD information if you want it to ('Do yo want to store this CD/DVD in the database?')
Allow DVD's to be stored as a single Item that we can store tag info on.
Can we add ability for DVD database, CD Database, web media, Hard Disk to Theatre view
With the above options I could have my DVD information on the big screen, view and schedule recording of TV shows in the codec that I choose with the best possible hardware devices, watch DVD's with the best possible picture, access internet radio stations by remote and write plugins that would allow MAME or any other ideas.
Cheers
Vic

I think you can allready use any codec. I'm using Huffyuv v2.1.1 for recording TV and timeshifting.

Hi,
I would like to be able to rate the currently playing song using the right click menu from the icon in the task bar. Perhaps the existing rating could be shown in bold.

Still waiting for external tagging of Cue files. So that any changes made to fields that are set to save to file are saved in the CUE file (as well) rather than only to the library.

without me highjacking the gist of this thread, could you tell me how you are using Huffyuv? When I try to add a new encoding profile, I can only select an audio codec and AVI or WMV (but not what type of AVI.)

Codec must be installed on system and then you can choose it in TV Settings. Under Recording choose Add, then under Step 1 for recording profile choose AVI, and under Step 2 you can choose any installed codec like in this picture.

Hope it helps ;)

Oh I see...because I am using a DV based analogue to digital converter, I don't get these settings. This is one of the things in my list I am hoping J river will add.
I can record TV but cannot timeshift and can't select a codec. I have to use iuVCR at the moment.
Cheers anyway
