I purchased MC11 and registered. Now the software is saying that i need to restore and my restore # won't work. Can anyone help?

you may want to expand on your problem by adding any error messages you may get when restoring.
with out this information it could be one of many reasons.
do not post your license # when posting more info.

When I put in my registration number, the response is that my license is expired.

make sure the date is correct on your computer
the restore file maybe over 14 days old
if your trying to restore from a license file you need to go to the restore page

The date is correct on my computer. The restore function via the web says that my code is expired. I paid via paypal.

I got Tivo on Friday and changed my computer name. I think this has caused the problem. Anyone know what to do about the registration?

Just a guess, but since apparently the license is tied to the computer name, why don't you just reinstall a new license (using one of your restores) for MC10.

JRiver contacted me via email and fixed the problem. It seems there was a mixup at Paypal. Thanks for the feedback....PS...I love Media Center. Keep it up.
