Title: How-To ? Populate Sample Rate, Channels, Bit Depth, and Compression
Post by: drosoph on November 13, 2004, 01:21:36 pm
How do you populate the new fields: Sample Rate, Channels, Bit Depth, and Compression ?

I tried re-importing and updating from external files ...
Only a dozen or two files updated (out of 40,000).

Whats the trick?

Select all the audio files you want (Media Library/Audio). Then goto 'Library Tools/Update Library from Tags'.

When I do that, my MC is crashing on some wma files.

Try updating MC if you're not running the latest.  Report your version if you are.
