am i missing something here, because the volume of media center has to be extremely low not to blast out my ears. this isn't the same on other media players on my computer - e.g. musicmatch.
this is really annoying me. i've even changed the dsp settings to that the pre-amp has negative settings but it's still really loud.
can somebody please help me with this? the overall windows "volume" setting is low too, so that's not an issue...

guess who just found the "internal volume" option. :-[
in my defence, it was pretty much invisible on the skin i was using....
