Hi all
How do I get rid of the (1) when converting files?
-
Come on anyone?
-
What convention are you trying to rename?
ie, [Artist]-[Album]-[Track #]-[Name]
Usually it will only put a (1) if there is another file with the same name.
Also what path is your music in?
ie, c:\music\[Artist]\[Album]

Yes that's why, but why do it have the option, to delete the original then?
I don't see the idea to have that option then :)
-
You do have option to delete the original,
On the covert window, Click Options,
Click Send Original To Recycle Bin
Before you delete the originals, What were you converting to and from?
-
Yes but it should be delete before add then :)
For better quality ;)
-
Ok, I see what you mean.... I just tried it...
After converting,
Rename files from properties, that should do the trick.
It can't delete it first. I would imagine it would have to load the whole thing into memory to convert it...
What are you converting to and from? If your going from Lossy to Lossy, you may end up with a crappy file.
