Title: Video Playback Size
Post by: g8orfan on November 22, 2004, 10:07:39 am
Is there a way to view a mpg or wmv file at less than full size but still hide all the controls and menus?

Try "Windowed View" from the right-click menu of the video.

Matt,  Thanks for the quick reply.  Let me try to be a bit more specific.  When I play a movie, I would like the whole screen to be black except the video itself.  If I use the windowed view I can still see the rest of the MC display or if I minimize MC I see my desktop.  If I try to stretch out the windowed display, the video enlarges proportionately with the window.  The problem with this is that the video quality reduces as the video enlarges.  With 320 x 240 files, the larger video has poor quality.  What I am looking for is a feature like the one found in Real Player's Theater mode where the video size is independent from window size.

Basically,  I want to create a movie theater atmosphere where everything is dark except for the video itself without making the video full screen.  Is this possible?

Thanks
